Trionfi

Under the title Trionfi (Triumphal Processions), Carl Orff brings together three works that celebrate love. He draws on ancient Greek, Latin and Middle High German texts as his source material.


Catulli Carmina

Carl Orff uses Catullus' Lesbia poems to create a comedy about love, loyalty and betrayal.

Carmina Burana

A medieval collection of poems inspired Carl Orff to compose his choral work about fate, springtime feelings, drunkenness and love.

Carl Orff combines texts by Catullus and Sappho with his own poetry to create a comedy about an ancient wedding celebration.
